Marijuana Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other so that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from marijuana addiction.
Established in 1989, MA emerged from Alcoholics Anonymous using the 12 Step recovery program to connect people who had a desire to stop using marijuana.
We figured out how to stop using marijuana, one day at a time.
On this site, you'll find useful information if you live in or around Los Angeles and you believe marijuana or cannabis may be a problem for you. You'll find a meeting directory for in-person and online meetings and other resources too.

Needs Support:
Signal Hill Trapped in the Addict on Long Beach is a small new meeting looking to grow, check it out if you are near the Long Beach Area.
Dopeless Divas needs funding as it gets itself on its feet as a new meeting. The DSC voted that meetings can pass the basket a second time if they want to support the meeting financially.
Pasadena Burning Bush (Saturday 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm) is a meeting that could use support including people with time who can sponsor and take commitments.
Considering sobriety? Talking to someone who used to use marijuana just like you can make all the difference.
A marijuana addict in recovery can be available to answer your questions about our 12-Step program, whether for you or for someone else who may have a problem with using too much cannabis.
